Our mission is to bring the comfort and hope of home to every child braving the night at a hospital.
Impact
Staying overnight at a hospital can be scary, so having something warm and soft can go a long way. Our blankets bring hope and comfort to brave children and teens struggling with numerous health concerns.
Each blanket is handmade following prepared patterns in ensure equal quality and given out in children’s hospitals.
Get Involved
Create
We collect homemade blankets, in knitted, crochet, or sewed mediums. Patterns and specifics are included in specially made kits for volunteers convivence and to ensure equal quality.
Donate
We gladly accept monetary donations for those who wish to donate their money instead of time. All monetary donations will go directly into our operational cost and to more supplies.
Supply
We also accept donations in the form of sewing and knitting supplies. We always are looking for more fabric, thread, and yarn. Supplies can be dropped off at one of our centers or mailed.
Blanket Kits
Want to make a blanket? We provide pre-packaged kits with fabric and supplies. These kits will include fabric or yarn, one of our patterns, and extra materials based of induvial pattern needs. (Sewing machines and tools such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, and quilt frames are not included.)
Blanket kits can be picked up at one of our centers, as well as mailed throughout the United States. Patterns are instructions can be sent separately in cases where volunteers have their own supplies. Donated blankets must follow an approved pattern.
